How do I get a backup code for Google's 2-Step Verification?

In order to get a backup code for Google's 2-Step Verification, you must already be enrolled. If you are not enrolled, call the helpdesk. 812-462-4401 ext. 11999.

**Log in ** to your Google account.

From any **Google ** page (eg: email, drive, classroom), click on the **profile circle ** with initial, photo, emoji at the upper right corner of the screen.

Click the **Manage your Google Account ** button.

Open the **Security ** tab on the left side of the screen (sometimes found on the top when using a phone).

Find **How you sign in to Google ** and look for Backup codes.

There are (ten) 8 digit codes that can be used one time each. New codes can be generated if needed.
